I Am...

"Who Am I?" Devotion Series

We know that lies don’t define us (see last week’s devotion), so what better way to close out this 8-week devotional series than to focus on the things that DO define us. As believers in Jesus Christ, we can praise God for the following, all of it found in the Word of God:

I am…

Forgiven. Delivered. Redeemed. I am renewed and revived. I am alive.

I am…

Saved. Raised. Seated in heavenly places. I am sealed by the Holy Spirit. I am secure.

I am…

A new creation. A stranger and an alien. A citizen of heaven. I am spiritual and
eternal. I am not of this world.

I am…

A bond-servant. A soldier. A worshiper. A witness. I am persecuted for the sake
of the gospel…I am rewarded.

I am…

Loved. Accepted. Protected. I am cared for and provided for. I am never alone.

I am…

Unbound. Unashamed. Emboldened. Empowered. I am more than a
conqueror.

I am…

A sheep. A branch. I am dependent. I am lost without Him.

I am…

Gifted. Guided. Equipped for every good work. I am part of God’s plan and purpose.

I am…

His child. His vessel. His workmanship. The apple of His eye.

I am…

Fearfully and wonderfully made.

I am…

Blessed.

I am…

HIS.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for all that I am in Christ. Help me to fully understand who I am and to walk fully in my Christ-identity. Thank You for making me a new creation. May I praise You forevermore. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
